As part of the Society's mission of building community and advancing the understanding of thrombosis and haemostasis, the Society offers a complete portfolio of publications. They include:
The JTH is one of the leading publications in the field of thrombosis and hemostasis. Its authors, reviewers and editors volunteer their time and expertise to contribute and disseminate important scientific information to the international research community.
Additional JTH offerings include:
Please refer to the JTH website for more information on how to submit a manuscript and/or how to communicate with the editors. NEW! ISTH members receive a 25% discount for open access selection of accepted papers.
The ISTH Clinical Core Curriculum on thrombosis and hemostasis is the first framework of its kind to define the minimum standards for a medical doctor to attain a level of proficiency to enable them to practice independently as specialists in the field.
Published in the January 2016 issue of the Journal of Thrombosis and Haemostasis (JTH), the Core Curriculum is a key resource and reference for the global thrombosis and hemostasis community. Click here to view the article. Click here to download a pdf of the booklet.
The ISTH’s Scientific and Standardization Committee (SSC) publishes official reports, recommendations and deliberations in JTH. As a service to the scientific community, we make all official SSC communications available as "open access” documents.
The SSC also publishes full-length versions of its official reports, recommendations, minutes and bibliography on the ISTH website.
Many of the standards developed by the SSC are adopted by the World Health Organization as International Standards. Through an effective collaboration with the National Institute for Biological Standards and Control of the United Kingdom, it provides a vital service to commercial manufacturers of diagnostic reagents by creating plasma and coagulation factor standards calibrated by laboratories of SSC-associated investigators.
Our quarterly eNewsletter highlights global thrombosis and hemostasis news, reports on the work of our committees and publishes other information that helps facilitate the participation of our members in the many activities in our field. Contact the ISTH headquarters at email@example.com to submit content for possible publication.
The ISTH maintains a list of registries devoted to the ongoing projects of the subcommittees. The registries are used to create an international network of clinicians and researchers working together for coordinated and consistent data collection.
