At the ISTH, we believe that all scientists, physicians and allied health professionals with an interest in thrombosis and hemostasis should be able to access the latest information and education. They should have the opportunity to participate actively in the global exchange of scientific and clinical information, regardless of where they live.

We specifically launched our Reach-the-World program to give healthcare professionals from developing countries access to thrombosis and haemostasis related knowledge and education.

Our Reach-the-World program encompasses:

• Offering deeply discounted ISTH membership rates to applicants who qualify.
• Building capacity by giving fellows and visiting professors the opportunity to study, research and/or lecture at a variety of host institutions by funding their airfare, accommodations and living expenses.
• Making available travel grants to and waiving registration fees for ISTH Congress and SSC Meeting attendees.
• Supporting educational courses in developing countries
