The SSC mission is to focus on practical matters dealing with nomenclature, methods and standards. 

Below you will find a link to the SSC Standing Committee on Coagulation Standards, who oversees the Secondary Coagulation Plasma Standard.  The plasma standard was created by the Society to offer a uniform plasma standard for use by the manufacturers in labeling their coagulation calibrators.

Past standards stemming from SSC work and approved by the World Health Organization are located at SSC- WHO Standards.

» CoagBase.  A database of coagulation and platelet proteins and genes, protein features, reference sequences, locus specific mutation database links and a ready reckoner for conversion of legacy to Human Genome Variation Society (HGVS) amino acid numbering.
