ISTH Membership
Regular Membership for the 2012 membership year is $160.00 US and Associate dues are $35.00 US. Dues are for the calendar year, January - December. Membership payments are not refundable.
Regular Members. Membership in the ISTH is open to researchers, educators and clinicians who have a continuing scientific interest in thrombosis, hemostasis and vascular biology. Regular members pay full annual dues, may nominate and vote in Society elections, may hold elected and appointed offices, may serve on committees, receive discounted registration for Society Congresses, and receive a complimentary subscription to the Journal of Thrombosis and Haemostasis : Official Journal of the ISTH.
Associate Members must be students, trainees, nurses, technicians, research staff or post-doctoral fellows and may continue in Associate status for up to three years. Applicants must attach a letter from their institution or supervisor certifying their status. Associate Members pay reduced annual membership dues, may vote in Society matters, receive discounted registration to Society Congresses, serve on Committees and enjoy members-only privileges. Associate Members receive an online-only subscription to the Society's official journal.
Reach the World Members. Membership is open to researchers, educators and clinicians from the developing world. These are defined as those countries designated as 'developing' by the classification of the World Bank (see: http://data.worldbank.org/about/country-classifications/country-and-lending-groups). The membership fee for these members is reduced to $ 35 USD. For applicants who attach a letter indicating their financial need this fee may be waived. Members in this category receive the ISTH e-Newsletter, may vote in Society matters, serve on Committees and enjoy members-only access to the website. Reach the World Members receive an online-only subscription to the Society's official journal (more information is available here).
