The International Society on Thrombosis and Haemostasis (ISTH) and the European Hematology Association (EHA) are pleased to announce Dr. Lucia Stefanini (University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill, NC, USA) as the winner of the EHA-ISTH Joint Fellowship for 2012.
The EHA-ISTH Joint Fellowship is a collaborative program between the ISTH and the European Hematology Association and is intended to support the study of physiology of coagulation, bleeding or thrombosis.
This fellowship award was presented at the 17th Annual EHA Congress in Amsterdam on June 16, 2012. The grant amount will support Dr. Stefanini’s studies onFine-tuning Rap1-dependent platelet activation with inhibitors of protein prenylationfor a two-year period.
