The American Society for Association Executives (ASAE) awarded the International Society of Thrombosis and Haemostasis (ISTH) two Gold Circle Awards for the World Thrombosis Day (WTD) campaign. The WTD movement was honored under the categories of Integrated Communications Campaign and Media/Public Relations Campaign.
The 2014 WTD campaign engaged more than 200 partner organizations in more than 50 countries worldwide to raise awareness about the signs, symptoms and risk factors of thrombosis.
The 2015 Gold Circle Awards competition signifies excellence, innovation, and achievement in association/nonprofit marketing, membership, and communications programs. During ASAE’s 2015 Marketing, Membership & Communications Conference (MMCC), June 1-2, in Washington, DC, the Gold Circle Award for Overall Excellence will be announced.
The 2015 competition received 193 submissions. The Communications, Marketing, and Membership Councils collaborated on executing this year’s awards program through the Gold Circle Awards Committee.
“The entries this year were excellent examples of marketing, membership, and communication. It was a difficult decision for the judges to select which organizations received the Gold Circle Awards,” said Millie Hurlbut, CAE, Director of Marketing at the Association of the US Army and chair of the Gold Circle Awards Committee. “During the MMCC conference, there will be an education session with selected winners who will present their programs, share what worked as well as lessons learned. It will provide attendees with information they can take back to their organizations.”
