Participate in an International Study to Calibrate the WHO First International Standard for TAFI

The National Institute for Biological Standards and Control (NIBSC) is recruiting laboratories to participate in the calibration exercise to establish the first international standard for TAFI. Interested laboratories with experience of measuring TAFI antigen or activity are invited to complete this questionnaire and return it at the earliest convenience before November 30, 2017.

In October, Research and Practice in Thrombosis and Haemostasis (RPTH) officially released its second issue. Read Editor in Chief Mary Cushman's editorial on indexing the new journal. As an open-access publication, all articles are available for anyone to view. Another notable paper is this review article on thrombosis and bleeding in patients with liver disease.
