The International Society on Thrombosis and Haemostasis (ISTH) is a growing medical/scientific professional society based in Carrboro, North Carolina, USA near the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill campus. Medical/Scientific Content Specialist (Contract Position)
The Medical/Scientific Content Specialist serves, on a contract basis, as the primary source of support in medical/scientific matters to the ISTH Headquarters staff, working collaboratively with internal staff and external stakeholders. The position works primarily with the education and outreach committee and team to develop and implement (new) educational content for the ISTH’s online platform, the ISTH Academy. He/she also works closely with the ISTH marketing and communications department to assist with medical, scientific or educational content related to ISTH and World Thrombosis Day communications.

The meetings manager, an experienced meeting professional with strong organizational skills and attention to detail, is responsible for all aspects of meeting planning, from site selection and contract negotiations through on-site event management for a full range of international meetings and congresses varying in size from 25 to 8,500 delegates.
