Registration Frequently Asked Questions

If you have questions about the registration process for SSC 2014, please review the following information.

Methods of Payment

Full payment should be received before the relevant deadline. To facilitate processing, participants should clearly indicate their name, file number and the purpose for which the payment is made on all remittances. From Wednesday, May 21, 2014, only payments by credit card will be accepted.

Either of the following means can be used for payment:

  1. Credit Card
    Eurocard/Mastercard, Visa and American Express will be accepted.
  2. Bank Transfer

All cancellations are to be sent to MCI Suisse SA in writing (fax, letter, or email).
For cancellations received before Wednesday May 7, 2014, deposits will be refunded less USD 50.- for administrative costs. After this date, no refunds will be possible.
A handling fee of USD 30.- per registration will be charged for every registration modification received after Wednesday May 21, 2014.
If a badge is lost or forgotten, an administrative fee of USD 100.- will be charged for the reprint of the badge after identity verification (passport, driving license or other recognized identification documents).

Registration Confirmation

A confirmation of registration and payment status will be sent to the individual or company that requests registration. Confirmation will be sent only when the corresponding payment is received. Participants should bring the letter of confirmation to the registration desk at the meeting venue when collecting their documents.

Letters of Invitation

There is a section on the registration process for attendees who need a letter of invitation. If you need a letter of invitation in order to complete your visa application process, please indicate this in the appropriate place during the registration process.

Registration for Accepted Abstract Presenters

The early registration deadline is before abstract presenters will be mailed their letters of acceptance. If you are an accepted abstract presenter, you will qualify to register at the early registration fee. This option will be available to you during registration.

Registration Disclaimers

It is recommended that participants obtain adequate cover for travel, health and accident insurance before they depart from their countries. MCI as the meeting planner, ISTH and committee members and officers of SSC 2014 claim no liability for the act of any supplier to this meeting, nor liability for: personal injury, the safety of any attendee while in transit to or from this event, for any loss or damage, for delays in transport by air, sea, rail, road, weather, in case of strikes, sickness, war or other causes.

Italian Pharmaceutical Companies
