ASPIRE Hemophilia Research Awards to be Announced at ISTH 2015

The Advancing Science through Pfizer - Investigator Research Exchange (ASPIRE) 2015 Awards in Hemophilia Research will be announced at the ISTH 2015 Congress. This competitive grant program, sponsored by Pfizer, is a peer-reviewed process available for investigators in the United States. 

The mission of ASPIRE Hemophlia 2015 is twofold:

  • To support basic science, translational and clinical research through a competitive grants program that advances medical knowledge in the pathogenesis and treatment of hemophilia
  • To support academic research as well as the career development of promising young and established scientists. 

Selection of the research proposals that are to be funded will be performed by an independent, external expert panel comprised of nationally known academic clinicians & scientists. Project duration should be 1-2 years with a maximum of $125,000 per year, inclusive of overhead costs. The deadline for application is May 25, and winners will be notified in early June, 2015.
