SSC Subcommittees Issue Call to Serve on Expert Panel on HMB and Bleeding Disorders Research

The SSC Subcommittees on Pediatric/Neonatal Thrombosis and Hemostasis and Women's Health Issues in Thrombosis and Hemostasis issued an open call to adolescent medicine physicians, obstetricians/gynecologists and hematologists to serve on an online expert panel tht will rate the appropriateness and necessity of various diagnostic and management approaches for young women with heavy menstrual bleeding (HMB) and bleeding disorders. 

This international panel survey will employ the RAND/UCLA Appropriateness Method and RAND survey methodologists to enable consensus on the measurement of the overuse and underuse of various diagnostic and management modalities in the care of young women with HMB.
