David Aronson, ISTH Founding Member and Former SSC Chair, Dies at Age 90

We regretfully share that David Aronson, founding ISTH member, has died. He was 90 years old. Aronson was an important leader in the field and the ISTH, serving as SSC Chairman from 1992-94. In 2009, he was awarded the Roberts Medal, honoring SSC service. 

He is survived by his wife and collaborator, Doris Menache-Aronson, who has also been a long-time ISTH member, as well as four children and their families. Our thoughts are with their family at this time.
